AcuPoint Injection Therapy (APIT)

Ancient wisdom, modern science

Acupuncture meets
Western medicine

Acupoint Injection Therapy (AIT) is a modern approach to acupuncture that combines the ancient practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with the latest medical advances. It involves injecting natural substances, such as vitamins, minerals, homeopathic medicines, and herbal extracts, into specific points on the body. These substances work to enhance the effects of acupuncture and stimulate the body's own healing mechanisms.

APIT is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of health conditions, including:

  • Injury recovery

  • Post-surgery recovery

  • Scarring and tissue damage

  • Inflammation

  • Chronic pain

  • Arthritis

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Immune system problems

  • Allergies and infections

  • Digestive disorders

  • Detoxification

  • Vitamin supplementation (i.e. B12, B vitamin complex)

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Fatigue

  • Local and radiating pain, for example:

    • Fibromyalgia

    • Low back pain

    • Knee pain

    • Shoulder pain

    • Hip pain

    • Sciatica

    • ...and more

APIT is administered by a licensed acupuncturist who has been trained in this specialized technique. To become certified in APIT, acupuncturists must complete an additional 60 hours of academic and clinical training beyond their traditional education. The needles used for APIT are very thin and cause little pain. The treatment itself is usually brief, lasting only a few minutes.

The substances injected during APIT are chosen based on the individual's health condition and needs. For example, vitamins and minerals may be used to boost the immune system, while homeopathic medicines may be used to address specific symptoms.

APIT is generally well-tolerated, but some people may experience mild side effects such as bruising or soreness at the injection site. Most people experience relief from their symptoms within a few treatments. APIT is a safe and effective way to improve your health and well-being.
